Why it matters
School-based programs can reach nearly every child, but only if schools adopt them. Local data and community support often decide whether they do.
What we’re doing
Part 1 mapped child sexual abuse rates among high school students by school zone, guided by a Community Advisory Board. Community members will review the results in Data Walks and develop their own prevention strategies. Part 2 measures community readiness through a survey of middle school students and interviews with staff at schools that do and don't offer prevention education.
