OUR RESEARCH
We find out what prevents violence, then help people put it to work.
The Center studies how to stop violence against women and children before it starts. We measure how often violence happens, test prevention programs, and turn the results into tools for coaches, schools, helplines, and policymakers.

What drives violence against pregnant and postpartum women, and how do we prevent it?
HOW WE WORK
Three ways we move prevention forward
01
Rigorous evaluations of prevention programs, from helplines to school curricula, so partners and funders know where their investment makes a difference.
RESEARCH & EVALUATION
03
We measure the problem
Surveys and data tools that track how often violence happens and who is affected, so prevention reaches the people who need it most.
SURVEILLANCE & DATA ANALYTICS
02
We test what works
We put research to use
Briefs, stories, evidence maps, and training that turn findings into decisions for the people running programs on the ground.
